What a relief to realise that acceptance has already occurred and there is actually nothing to do other than fall into the moment and ride the only wave there is....... thank you deeply for pointing this out, for arranging words in such a way that allows me to remember this. ❤️🙏💚
I just finished the Deepest Acceptance by Jeff Foster and this post was almost a summary of the main theme—that the deepest acceptance has already happened, and that our conventional idea of acceptance is always too late to the party. I really enjoyed this, thank you. Is the UK event going to be some kind of retreat, or just a talk?
Hi Dan. That's nice to hear. Jeff is a friend; he and I collaborated on an event at my home many years ago, before he was very well known. As for the London question, Friday night I'm giving a talk and then Saturday, a daylong retreat (a morning session, break for lunch followed by an afternoon session). Best, John
Beautiful writing. But for me, when the moment is difficult, it still feels like I need to do something with it in order not to suffer. This too is how the ocean moves.
Hi Marina. Everything depends upon which perspective we're talking about. From the perspective of there being no separation, then there is just this undivided reality, moving as everything. This was what I was pointing to in the post. From the perspective of being individuals, imagining we have autonomous existence, of course, there are all sorts of actions we seem able to take to address the myriad things we encounter in life. And yes, being these seemingly separate individuals doing x.y or z things is also the way the singular sea of life moves. :-)
Your writing continues to inspire & open me to the beauty of life unfolding endlessly within itself💜Thank you so much for the way you immerse us into this, John 🙏

Beautiful writing John, keep it up. Each moment is indeed the source!
Always the appreciation to your pointers no words can explain the feeling, understanding that show up in the reading … Muchas Gracias Señor
